On this Giving Tuesday, TripIt is launching its sixth annual airline miles donation drive with Make-A-Wish® to help grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening illnesses. Did you know that 75% of all wishes involve travel? You can make a difference by helping us raise three million miles by December 31st!
Your donated miles will help grant the wish trips for kids like Dominic, 17, who lives with a gastrointestinal disorder that has no cure. His wish was to visit Italy, which he says is “very dear to my heart because of my grandmother and the family living there that I rarely see.”
His grandmother, who spent her childhood there before moving to the U.S., was able to join Dominic and his family for the wish. Dominic said, “It made me happy to hear her speaking Italian and enjoying herself to the fullest.” Together, they visited with their Italian relatives, toured the Amalfi coast and visited Pompeii.
